The Hermann van Dillen Asiatex Company in Wettringen arose from the merger of two well-known home textile companies:
- Hermann van Dillen Import GmbH, Wettringen, founded in 1989, and
- Wilh. Ispert AG & Co. KG in Cologne, a subsidiary of Klöckner & Co. AG in Duisburg.
The years of experience of both companies in the procurement of goods – Ispert had its own offices in China, van Dillen contributed flexible sales management – guarantees optimum conditions for product quality and punctual delivery.
In the course of further internationalisation, 2001 saw the affiliation with the globally operating company Miro Radici AG.
